Created in Germany, in 2029 A.D. HausMarke was a merger of two major store retailers that sold everything, from office chairs and tables to industrial equipment. The merger was approved in 2028 A.D.
HausMarke eventually expanded their businesses to provide house construction, electric appliances and electronics, including robotics, with the creation of the HM FRIEND Robot, in 2068 A.D. After success with its home market, the FRIEND Robot became available in Europe in 2070 A.D. and became the de facto robotic solution in Europe, being sold in their stores.
HM FRIEND
Known formally as the HausMarke Firmware-Regulated Intelligent Electronic Neural Designed Robot, the FRIEND is HausMarke’s attempt to create a robot for the masses. With two of the Famed Five heading the ‘FRIEND Robot Creation Department’ for HausMarke (before they left to ARC-X), the FRIEND became a local success for the German market and eventually became the robot companion for most, if not all of Europe.
