ES

From Extra Activity Lore

Founded in 1889 A.D., Belgium.

One of the world’s biggest companies, ES (short for Etablissements Saeger, named after its creator, Julien Saeger) was created to supply the Belgian military with rifles. In 1897, they hired Jonathan Cantrell, renowned for designing the Maverick 1911 and many many other firearms-related products.

It has landed an incredible amount of military contacts, serving over 100 countries. The company’s portfolio includes pistols, PDWs, SMGs, rifles, MGs, accessories and more.

ES Bishop Mark 5

Type: Handgun

ES created the Conqueror in 1990 with a new bullet cartridge, and to accompany it, they also created the Bishop pistol, which carries the same ammunition type. Its original blocky design was a standout from other handguns at the time but over time, it got normalized due to market demands. The new model is a respin of the previous Mark 4, itself a respin of the previous Mark 3, with better ergonomics and an exposed threaded barrel for sound suppressors.

ES Conqueror90

Type: SMG

ES created the Conqueror in 1990 as a response to a NATO request for a new personal defense weapon that could fire a light caliber that could fit both pistols and SMG, but this was ultimately rejected by several EU countries, meaning that the Conqueror had to find its way into military forces the old-fashioned way. Its design remains ahead of the curve to this day, and its ambidextrous design allows quick handling without needing to relearn how to use a gun. It has received minor ergonomics changes over the years but the design remains the same.

ES STR-XA

Type: Assault Rifle

The STR-X (Standard Tactical Rifle Extensible) family of rifles by ES is well known all over the world for being once called as the official American rifle of the 2020s and 2030s, after beating the competition soundly.

The carbine version is called STR-XA, once known officially as the M5A1, uses 5.56x45mm rounds and it's often lighter than its other variants. ES sells the rifle to paramilitary forces and civilians.

ES STR-XB

Type: Battle Rifle

The STR-X (Standard Tactical Rifle Extensible) family of rifles by ES is well known all over the world for being once called as the official American rifle of the 2020 and 2030s, after beating the competition soundly.

The battle rifle version is called STR-XB, once known officially as the M5B1, uses 7.62x51mm rounds, while offering a longer barrel for long range engagements. ES sells the rifle to paramilitary forces and civilians.

ES STR-XS

Type: Sniper Rifle

The STR-X (Standard Tactical Rifle Extensible) family of rifles by ES is well known all over the world for being once called as the official American rifle of the 2020 and 2030s, after beating the competition soundly.

The sniper rifle version is called STR-XS, once known officially as the M5 DMR, uses 7.62x51mm rounds, and includes a lengthened receiver plus a fixed adjustable buttstock, as well a semi-auto trigger. Unlike its smaller variants, ES only sells the rifle to paramilitary forces.

ES GRAW MK3

Type: MG

The third iteration of the GRAW was officially adopted by the US Military, and eventually dumped in masses after the contract was over, making it a cheap and useful Squad Automatic Weapon for any paramilitary force that needs a cheap Machine Gun. So cheap that PMCs and even civilians can own them by the dozens. However it is not to be taken lightly, as it remains a good option for suppressing enemies.
