Woking
Woking is a British car maker founded in 1985, part of the Woking Group, itself founded in 1963. With a DNA of motorsports since its creation, Woking makes sporty supercars for the rich masses to enjoy. Most of the technology found in their cars come from the advancements they make with their sister company Woking Formula Racing Team, which has been more than successful in their area of operation.
History
Woking Automotive is a British car maker founded in 1985, part of the Woking Racing Group, itself founded in 1963. It started its life as Woking Vehicles. Formula A driver Lance Worchester created the company after being part of the sport for many years and having many victories. The two were eventually separated into Woking Vehicles (for prototypes and testing) and Woking Formula Racing Team (the Formula A team). Lance died in 1970 while testing a prototype that never made into production.
In 1985, longtime friend of Lance, Sir John Statham took over the company and further divested on both areas, creating the 'Project Woking Racing' team of engineers and specialists that would produce Formula A cars and eventually produce their own car models. For a while this was a dream but in 1992, the company launched the Woking Supreme, their first vehicle that caused plenty of commotion in the racing scene. Using a HFW V12 engine, the Supreme was considered the world's most expensive supercar at the time, and remains as one of the fastest Naturally Aspirated vehicles of all time.
The success in Formula A for many years did not motivate the company to continue on this market and for many years, they were inactive, with one model being produced commercially. In 2010, Weiss-Grüber approached them to make a new vehicle for the company's ambitions for a supercar and the end result was the Weiss-Grüber Schwarz-Woking. The success of the vehicle caused Woking to re-launch their commercial lineup of vehicles as Woking Automotive. In 2012, they introduced the 'Fighter', and kept making new models since, launching with a tribute to one of the most known Formula A drivers of all time, Raimundo Torre, the Woking Champion.

The Woking Supreme was developed between a collaboration Woking Vehicles and Woking Formula Racing Team, and it shows. With only 105 units made in its lifetime, this supercar topped the charts for the most expensive car ever sold, and remains one of the fastest Naturally Aspirated vehicles of all time, despite coming out a good ten to fifteen years prior to the current top 3. The Ultramodel is even more rare, with only 5 units made, all sold before it was under construction.
The Supreme Ultramodel comes with a HFW-made 6.0L V12 engine with a RMR layout and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Fighter UltraModel (2014)
The Fighter is considered the ‘supercar for the masses’, a readily available car that most rich people that can afford one could use as a daily driver. The UltraModel however, was much more track ready than its normal versions, inspired by its GTC variant for track racing.
The Fighter UltraModel comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.8 L V8 engine in a RMR layout with a 7-speed dual-clutch manual transmission.
Champion (2022)
